Our Story

Daughters of India is a youth-led initiative founded by 13-year-old Anaya Deshmukh, created to empower girls and women through stories, education, and community action. What began as a small idea when Anaya was just 8 years old has grown into a platform that uplifts voices, strengthens communities, and opens doors to new opportunities.

Through our initiatives in Health, Education, and Safety, we work to build futures where every girl feels seen, heard, and supported:

🌸 Healthy Girls, Brighter Futures – because wellness and confidence start with taking care of our bodies and minds.

📚 Education & Fundraising – Building Futures – from book drives to scholarships to safe hostels, we help remove barriers that keep girls out of school.

💜 Safety & Support – Spaces to Dream Freely – creating safe environments where girls can focus on learning and growing without fear.

Our Mission

At Daughters of India, we believe in a world where every girl can rise without fear, speak without hesitation, and pursue her dreams without limits.

We are dedicated to creating spaces where girls are educated, nurtured, and empowered to take charge of their lives. Through health initiatives, education programs, and safety advocacy, we strive to ensure that no girl’s potential is ever overlooked or diminished.

Our mission is to ignite confidence, resilience, and self-worth in every daughter of India, so she can stand tall, break barriers, and shape a future that is truly her own.

Because when a girl is empowered, she doesn’t just transform her life—she transforms her community, her country, and the world.

Community Over Competition
