What It Is
The Azim Premji Scholarship supports girl students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are entering the first year of a recognised undergraduate degree or diploma course anywhere in India. It is not merit-based — selection is based on meeting the foundation's eligibility criteria, not exam scores or class rank.
What You Get
₹30,000 per year, for the full duration of the course (2 to 5 years depending on the program). There is no application fee.
Who Can Apply
Passed Class 10 and Class 12 as a regular student from a government school or college.
The school or college is located in an eligible state or Union Territory.
Secured admission to the first year of a recognised undergraduate degree or diploma course, 2–5 years in duration.
The course can be at a government or recognised private college/university, located anywhere in India.
From a disadvantaged background, per the foundation's criteria.

Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets
Proof of admission to college
Files must be JPG, PNG, or PDF, between 30 KB and 500 KB each.
How to Apply
Go to the Azim Premji Foundation's official scholarship portal.
Select ‘Register New Applicants Cohort 2026.’
Enter your mobile number and verify with the OTP sent to you.
Create your password and user ID.
Log in and complete the application form.
Upload the required documents.
Enter your bank account details carefully.
Save and submit — keep a copy of the completed form.
The Deadline
Applications close August 31, 2026. That's the whole window — there's no indication of an extension, so don't wait until the last few days if documents still need to be gathered.
